Trained Dogs Rule

As long as I can remember I have loved animals.  I have had cats, dogs, birds a horse and even a pet salamander.  Dogs though are special. 

Presently my husband and I have two dobermans(one male & one female), two cockatiels and 19 ducks.  As you may have guessed we live in the country.

I have owned many types of dogs over the years but for the last twenty years I have owned dobermans.  We all have our favourites and the doberman just happens to be mine.   I find them to be a very gentle and loving pet.  They are very easy to train once the Alpha position is established.

Both of our dobermans are Canadian Champions.  They also have had basic obedience training.  Being owners of  large breed dogs training is essential.  Training does not stop after you take an obedience class.  It becomes your daily interaction with your dogs, a way of life so to speak. 

Having own dogs all my life and dobermans for the last twenty plus years I believe that I have acquired some knowledge about dogs.  I would very much like to share my knowledge and experience with you.  I would also like to hear from you.

No one person has all the answers to the many problems that we can encounter with our dogs.
